20th Febuary 2009... It was officially my last day in poly, and also it was my 25th Birthday. Yesterday started very brightly for me as I had anticipated a big big celebration after the final paper.

But now as I am sitting here trying to recollect my thoughts... I really feel so screwed up yesterday. Less than 24 hours ago I was so so dead drunk... and I really brought so much inconvenience to everyone especially my bro Ju, his girlfriend and to Sam and Ray. I really feel so bad that I become a hindrance with my stupid bravado.

Guess I'll roll back to my default birthday celebrations from next year onwards...

You're my Angel and my Star...

You're my angel and you're my star
You're my light that is shining in the night
I wanna touch you but you are so far
Just come along and I give you all my heart

So untouchable
Incredible that I will make you mine
So impossible
Seems to be that I know one day you're mine.

Above: Starlight Starbright... no it's just the brilliant moon in the Lunar New Year 15th Day

Amidst the scrutinizing gaze of the co-assessor, Peter Mouwe, the 3 of us managed to successfully carry out or FYP presentation. Best of all, the co-assessor couldn't muster any technical question to ask us! Finally, we can breathe a sigh of relief... I thought I was gonna be a gonner about 2 weeks ago. Who knows such a change of fortunes could take place. Up till now I am still in a certain degree of disbelief...

After the FYP presentation, the DigiComs lab test and Technopreneurship written test, I can focus of what's left... the 3 main papers...

6 days to NETP exam, think I'll dedicate 3 days to studying it and the other 3 days for Mobile Comms exam... after that the following 3 days is for DigiComs exam... hopefully that is enough time for me...

Above: Yea, it's 2am alright...

Finally TNP down! I guess everyone put in the effort to get that report done. Even to the extent of coming back to school in the odd hours to do it! The guys ( Earns, Chek How, Sheng Ye and WeiJie) and I were in school yesterday 11pm till 3am this morning, just to get that report finalized. After that we had a sumptous ( and fiery) supper of Roti Prata, Kuay Tiao Goreng and Roti John!

Later in the day, Me, Earns and Andrew headed to do the powerpoint for the FYP presentation. And, we also rated ourselves to our supervisor. Seriously, I hated every part of that. Although I know I did the majority of the project, the system shouldn't have allowed us to rate ourselves. Yea, it exposes raw nerves and it's just so crappy to do it. For some other FYP groups, it applies because there are apparent freeloaders. But for our case... I don't know how to comment on this...

Unexpectedly Lucky?

Above: The thing that got me rocking for the entire year... finally it's working and I can breathe easy!

I have declared that I will be a crazy book-mugger for the following one month (as of before Chinese New Year). So far so good...

After CNY, I had to sit for a huge load of lab tests, submit many reports! and do several presentations. Its like being hit by an Oxford dictionary in the head! So far all of them seem manageable.

Network Protocols PBIL Lab - A

Mobile Communications Lab - A

Technopreneurship presentation - A

Technopreneurship report submission - 7/2/09

Digital Comms. Lab - 9/2/09

Final Year Project Presentation - 9/2/09

Final Year Project Report submission - 9/2/09

Blasted FYP... finally got that damned thing working and I was rushing my guts off to get the report finalized and the powerpoint presentation up. Also, I think I need to prepare a script just incase I forgotten my lines during the presentation. *Sigh* the thought of not being in this year's Spinnovex brings some degree of sadness. Not only do I not get to showcase my stuff, I also lose my grade "A" for FYP... My supervisor, Mrs Pauline Chan told me that the most I cound get out of this was a "B"... I just just hope that I can make it a "B+". At least it's some scant consolation for me. If miracles do really exist; if I can ask for an "A", why not?
