Its the 1st day of school again, after the MST week. Somehow I feel the drive to study as much as possible, just hope I don't lose that drive again. During the SOCOM Lab, I was told by Mr Lim that my re-test will be posponed till next Friday. Guess I'll take the time to study... As what Earns pointed out, getting high marks shouldn't be a problem if I looked through the Lab sheets.

Yesterday I accompanied Ah Mei to view some potential flats. Now that she's done with her studies and graduation very soon, its time for her to get a Job. So I guess the apartment should be one that is cosy enough, both internally and externally and, of course the rent should be reasonable. Yesterday's unit at Choa Chu Kang Ave. 2 seems like a good place. That 4 room flat's interior has been completed in Ancient Roman-Greek theme, three bedrooms all comes air-conditioned and of course the toilet looks comfortable. All for a price of $1850 per month. I think that seems quite reasonable for a well-furbished house and Ah Mei might consider that.

*ahem...* As I was blogging, Ah Mei told me that the Yishun apartment sucks, and worse still the Choa Chu Kang one has been taken... oh well...

Anime & Playpark Exhibition

Catching up after so long, me and Brian and his friend were at Suntec City for the Animax / Anime Convention. Standard, we never give the Bandai Booth a miss. Brian even got his hands on a 1/100 MG Gundam Unicorn for only $68! Freaking cheap, and also, it was the last one for the day! I had to supress my temptation to buy other model kits. There was also cosplay there, chaps in Stormtrooper costumes, Ultraman suits, Jedimaster suits, other funny looking lolita outfits, and oh ya... one girl in a sexy outfit portraying Rogue of X-Men.

All round Suntec City, I saw kids with some kind of long balloon with the Playpark Forum's mascot (Maoster) on it. Then i remembered that there was some kind of event at the other end of Suntec City, so there I was... standing amongs the sea of kids (haha), queuing up to register for the playpark website thingie and also for that bag and for some game tickets to get some freebies... man... I feel like a 10 year old haha!

I'm glad I was able to help Melvin with his portfolio, by being the model of the day ( lol~!). Melvin was the photographer and Eric was there to help out with transportation.

Basically, I wore various designs of Rabandtor Tees and took the shots at various "old" places. I can't search for a better word than "old"! But, that's the theme. His idea was that, he wanted something oriental, something olden, and also it was a "virgin" label. I find that concept quite refreshing as it is away from the enclosure of the studios as well as the usual highs of fashion glamour. After the 1st set of photoshots, we break for lunch and went to a different location for the second set (All within central area of Singapore). Prior to the second set of shots, We prayed at a temple and asked for blessings. Well, I just hope my family members, my girl, and my friends are all well. Also, I wish Han's and Melvin's business take off like a rocket!

On with the second set of photos... and.. I was sweating like a dog due to the extreme heat of the mid-day sun. The thermometer in the Temple reads a scorching 36 Degrees Celcius! FIRE! All in all, the photoshot session was about 5 hours. Though tiring, it was a really good experience for me!

There are 3 papers for the upcoming MST. Mainly DSP, SOCOM and CSS. And, I've got a whole three weeks to mug it out. I wish I can grind out all-As, which is possible I feel, if I become a no-lifer. On top of that, there are the CSS Qn8 Lab to do as well as FYP to work on. Not forgetting, there are the few lab tests that I have to study for... school re-opening's gonna be a headache for me.

Post-ICT

Super tired after coming back from ICT. After a round of Dim Sum with LiYang, Daniel and Geoff, I headed back home and dropped dead on bed. The next day(Which was yesterday), I cannot tahan; dropped dead for the next 12 or so hours, waking up today 5.30am this morning.

*It's nobody's fault except for that "Garang" CO / BC... You effectively "killed" almost half the batallion with your needless charge. Kudos to the few who stand up for their rights.
